TRANSPARENCY
Like all retained executive recruiting firms, TIG agrees not to recruit from a client firm for a contractually stipulated period of time.  Unlike most recruiting firms, TIG makes available to prospective clients its "off limits" list, which can be extensive in the case of very large recruiters.  That means you can decide judge for yourself whether TIG has contractual obligations that would hamper its ability to conduct an effective search for you.

VALUE
Retained executive search firms typically charge a client a fee equal to one-third of the first year's compensation (salary and projected bonus) for a position.  We charge a flat fee, determined in advance, based on the time the search is likely to take and the projected difficulty of the search.  This more clearly aligns our interests with our client's interest in getting the best talent possible for the most reasonable compensation.

OBJECTIVITY
The fact that we've hired and managed countless people over the years gives us a certain degree of confidence in our ability to screen candidates.  But, unusual in our field, we don't rely solely on our instincts.  We are certified in use of one of the most sophisticated personality screening instruments available today, the Hogan Assessment, which we use to identify issues that might not be apparent to even the most thorough interviewer.  We'd rather be safe so that you aren't sorry.
